Dropping DoFollowlinks.co.uk Soon
Just a heads up for anyone who uses my directory www.dofollowlinks.co.uk that I will be dropping the directory very soon.
A couple of reasons for this is directory submissions are virtually worth nothing in SEO juice anymore so there`s really not much point you all continuing to submit your websites.
Also Google now penalise websites with too many directory submission links. Lastly I do not really have to time to keep on top off the directory, it has become far more popular than I was expecting.
I`m still glad I set the directory up though, I learnt a lot from it, trends, learning more about spammers and whole bunch of other stuff.
To boot for a website less than a year old it gained an Alexa rank of 24,716 (as of today 12/10/2012) and Google rank of 4. Not bad for a 10 month old website.
The directory will be dropped before Christmas, I do have other plans for the domain which I will reveal in due time.
