It`s getting late now and I should really be in bed (2:36 am), just a quick heads up for the regular visitors. You may have noticed a few things different on the Sitebee website.
I have made a few design alterations to speed up page loading time and give the Sitebee website a sharper cleaner look. There`s a couple of other small alterations ive been working but not quite finished fully yet which is the responsive layout (mobile friendly), i`ll finish those tweaks off before the end of the week.
I`ve knocked up another free html5 website template to use on their development projects. It`s a nice clean template which has been named Evolution. Template is coded in valid html5 and css3.

A couple of webmaster have emailed me thanking me and showing off their brand new websites with SimpleBee. I have also received a few messages from webmasters mentioning they would love to see a WordPress port of the theme.

A Dofollow link is is your favourite, those are the links which will increase your search engine rankings. A Dofollow link carries SEO juice that transfers a percentage of seo juice from one page to another, they also transfer page rank. These are the kind of links you should primarily aim for to achieve the best results in link building.
Nofollow
A Nofollow link does not carry any seo juice from one page to another nor page rank. Adding the rel=”nofollow” attribute to the hyperlink markup. Nofollow links do still count as back links, they just carry very little weight.
Which to use?
Let it be known, when link building you should use both types of links in your link building campaign, a natural percentage would be 70% Dofollow and around 30% Nofollow. Both types of links are good! If you had a near perfect 100% Dofollow links pointing your website, your sending signals to the search engines that your trying to artificially inflate your rankings which could result in a rankings drop or worse a penalty.

A handy plugin for Firefox called NoDoFollow will let you know know what links on a page are Dofollow (blue) and Nofollow (red)
I`ve added a new page to the Sitebee website, the page is meant to be a quick access reference page to all the free templates ive created, past and present. I added the old templates because people still download them and use them, it quite suprising how many budding webmasters prefer simple designs over modern complicated designs, I know this from the amount of times the Beadysite template gets downloaded.
In what very rare spare time I have to myself I like to improve my skills by creating templates and themes to release globally for free.
I`ve recently fell in love with a CMS script called GetSimple, as the name suggest it`s a wonderfully pleasant experience to work with, style and use. None of the bloated coding and scripting as you would find in WordPress or Joomla.
Late last week I decided to build a theme for the CMS, which to my surprise was a doddle compared to WordPress. So here I present SimpleBee CMS Theme.
Built using HTML5 / CSS3, theme has also been made mobile friendly (responsive). I`m currently writing a plugin for social media and seo specifically for the theme, which should be ready in a few days, so watch this space.
If the theme gets a good response I will probably port it to WordPress and a static version.
Some of you with a website may have noticed your Google Page Rank increase or decrease on your webpages today. Well from what I can gather there has been a Page Rank update today (Monday 4th February)
I have seen many increases across the websites that Sitebee work with, which is a good sign. In addition a recommendation from myself would be to install the Google Tool Bar, which will display Page Rank for any webpage within your browser.
